Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit gadgetpromozen.com and what your rights are.

1. Controller

We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law. Where Canadian visitors are concerned, we also respect the principles of PIPEDA.

2. Data we process

• Server log data: when you visit the site, our hosting server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, the pages you request and the date and time. We need this to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
• Emails you send us: if you contact us by email or phone, we use your details only to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they’re no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them.
• Cookies: the site uses only the cookies its WordPress software needs to work. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

3. Affiliate links

Some links take you to external stores, such as the SwitchBot Canada store, with a tracking parameter that tells the store you came from our site. Once you are on the store’s website, its own privacy policy applies, including any cookies it sets and how it processes your order and payment data. We don’t receive your payment details, and we can’t see who bought what.

4. Third-party services

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address. We use this to display the site consistently (legitimate interest). See Google’s privacy policy for more information.

5. Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share data only with processors who help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, under data-processing agreements, or where the law requires us to.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email renataporec@gmail.com. You can also complain to a supervisory authority. In Croatia, that’s the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when our site or the law changes. The date above shows the latest version.
